Summary: The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and the toilet was covered in urine stains. The room on sixth floor was similar to prisons I have stayed seen. The door had a hole in which was filled in with cardboard and the closet door had been sellotaped shut. We contacted reception and they allocated a new room, but little or no apology.

Summary: We have stayed here once before and we had a nice renovated room. But this visit was a disappointment. But on the other hand, we were visiting friends and only slept here, but still all this... This is an elderly hotel with some renovated room. Unfortunately we didn't get any of those this time. The room smelled baaaad... The room smelled stuffy and old and it didn't help to open the windows in order to get ridd of the smell. Several spots on the carpet. Drainage from shower was bad, it didn't work. I got shower water almost to ankles after a normal shower. So next time if those renovated rooms (can't remember the category) are not available, we will stay somewhere else. Breakfast was good. It was a Covid breakfast, you get your stuff to the table. Very good though.

Summary: The reception staff seemed rather odd. I turned up and they asked me 3 times if I actually had a reservation (?!). Then they asked when I booked it (like it mattered). I rang reception and asked for some more shampoo and shower gel (as they only put 1 tiny bottle in my room) but I was asked to come downstair and get it. On my last day I was meant to check out at 12:00. I received a phone call from reception at 12:01 asking my to leave the room... The one positive thing from my stay was a lovely lady who was a cleaner (Ukrainian I believe). She seemed very smiley and happy all the time, she made these little conversation which was very friendly and welcoming - unlike the rest of staff.
